These photographs represent a kind of sociocultural study of how we organize the world in our most personal and intimate space . . . the bedroom. That place where one can feel most unobserved and least self-conscious. A space to keep the practical, the sentimental and the secret. Organized in a way to give a sense of place, the bedroom is a place of safety, comfort and familiarity. A place to belong.
This is an ongoing project and I am always looking for new participants. If you would like to discuss having your sbedroom photographed for this series, please use the contact link on this site get in touch with me.
